The cloudy sky and reflections on the water are painted in an impressionistic style with strong contrast to make for a dramatic large original work of art. So many beautiful and vibrant shades of blue with teal blues, aqua, turquoise, sapphire, deeper blues, greens, and hints of golden tones are used with the shades of white in this large original landscape painting.

Expressing the color, light, and many moods of nature, has kept me busy painting and making things since I was a little girl. My deep appreciation and love of nature influences my artwork both in the materials used and my expression of art. I find it intriguing to find older, unique items and give them a second life. Coming up with new designs for my glassware and paintings, or thinking about some new project, are things I love to do. There is a joy in making something useful and artistic that will hopefully bring happiness to those who use it.
